AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting

Course Overview

AAT (The Association of Accounting Technicians) Courses offered under the AAT training scheme give students the opportunity to gain experience and to progress in their accounting careers.

The courses consist of three levels with each level representing a qualification in its own right and individuals receive a certificate for each level achieved. Registration with AAT is required and the cost of this is paid directly to the professional body. The costs below don’t include exam fees payable to the College.

This course includes units which will provide a breadth of understanding and knowledge for the accounting employee or those wishing to enter the accounting environment.

Progression routes are available and all individuals who wish to increase their accounting knowledge may wish to take an AAT Level 3 Accounting course.

This course covers the following topics:
– Bookkeeping transactions
– Bookkeeping controls
– Elements of costing
– Using accounting software
– Work effectively in finance

  • Entry Requirements

    AAT does not set any prerequisites for the study of the AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting. However, for the best chance of success, we recommend that students begin their studies with a good standard of English and Maths.
