Accounts – Advanced Diploma in Accounting (Level 3) (Part Time)

Course Overview

The AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting is a part-time course suitable for students who are interested in accountancy, working with accounts or becoming a chartered accountant.

AAT (The Association of Accounting Technicians) courses offered under the AAT training scheme that gives students the opportunity to gain experience and to progress in their accounting careers. Courses consist of three levels. Each level represents a qualification in its own right. Students receive a certificate for each level achieved. Registration with AAT is required and the cost of this is paid directly to the professional body. The costs below don’t include exam fees payable to the College.

The level 3 qualification consists of 5 assessments.  These assessments include Advanced Bookkeeping, Final Accounts Preparation, Management Accounting: Costing, Indirect Tax and a Synoptic unit, which incorporates the first three assessments again plus Ethics for Accountants and Spreadsheets for Accounting.  These units provide a good breadth of understanding in more complicated accounting techniques for those wishing to progress from a level 2 qualification or wishing to advance their accounting career prospects.

    Prior knowledge of Level 2 or relevant experience/ qualifications is needed to enter this level of study

  • Career Prospects

    You can progress onto the AAT Level 4 Diploma in Accounting.
