The AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting is a part-time course suitable for students who are interesting in accountany, working with accounts or becoming a chartered accountant.
AAT (The Association of Accounting Technicians) courses offered under the AAT training scheme give students the opportunity to gain experience and to progress in their accounting careers. Courses consist of three levels. Each level represents a qualification in its own right. Students receive a certificate for each level achieved. Registration with AAT is required and the cost of this is paid directly to the professional body. The costs below don’t include exam fees payable to the College.
Units include Accounts Preparation, Prepare Final Accounts for Sole Traders and Partnerships, Costs and Revenues, Indirect Tax, Professional Ethics and Spreadsheets which will provide a breadth of understanding and knowledge for the accounting employee or those wishing to enter the accounting environment.
Prior knowledge of Level 2 or relevant experience/ qualifications is needed to enter this level of study
You can progress onto the AAT Level 4 Diploma in Accounting.
