The AS Level / A Level Spanish course is a Full-time Further Education course within the Sixth Form Academy (SFA). It is designed for students who are interested in languages and progressing their Spanish skills.
You will develop confident, effective communication skills in Spanish and a thorough understanding of the culture of countries and communities where Spanish is spoken.
The course will nurture an interest in, and enthusiasm for, language learning and encourages students to consider their study of the language in a broader context.
The themes covered the course include being a young person in Spanish speaking society and understanding the Spanish-speaking world, as well as Diversity and Difference and The Two Spain’s 1936 onwards.

A minimum of six GCSEs at Grade C or above including English Language at Grade B and Grade B in a foreign language or Welsh. No previous knowledge of Spanish is required.
