The AS Level / A Level Welsh Second Language course is a Full-time Further Education course within the Sixth Form Academy (SFA). It is designed for students who are interested in languages and progressing their Welsh skills.
This course is based upon set texts, grammar and films. It is necessary to take an interest in the language outside of the classroom by listening to Welsh radio, watching S4C, access Welsh language websites and videos on YouTube.
The programme is assessed through the following skills: reading, writing, and speaking. Lessons are delivered through the medium of Welsh, in the main, which ensures that students reach the highest level of accuracy and fluency.

Complete the online application form, where you will be asked to specify your other two choices. Then book an Interview appointment to meet the tutors and discuss your preferred choices.
