International Tourism and Events Management – BA (Hons) Top-up Degree (Full-Time)

Course Overview

This programme will suit students wishing to develop a broad range of tourism, events and business skills. It will provide you with the necessary knowledge and insight to develop an understanding of managing tourism and event organisations more effectively.

This course is run in partnership with the University of Wales, Trinity Saint David.


  • Entry Requirements

    Entry onto top-up courses is through the successful completion of the HND in International Tourism & Event Management with a pass profile.
    If you had an HND or FD another subject area, entry onto the course is determined by the modules you have achieved.

    Typical offer: 1 A Level at C Grade or 2 A Levels at E Grade or above or MP/PPP profile from a BTEC Level 3 qualification and five GCSEs at Grade C or above, to include English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications).

  • Career Prospects

    You may progress to a variety of postgraduate tourism and events related courses.

    Graduates have employment prospects in a wide range of tourism and events disciplines, for example: conferencing and events management, tourism and planning consultancy, tour operations, the airline industry, marketing and consultancy.

  • Assessment

    You will usually have to complete portfolios, presentations and coursework as you progress, and one module requires an exam at the end of the academic year.
