The BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate in Business and Law course is ideal for those who wish to develop a theoretical and practical understanding of business management and explore the first steps into the legal profession..
This qualification is recognised as a first step to being able to work in a law firm or become a lawyer. This is located in the Business Tourism Management (BTM) department and is delivered at the Cwtch, in the town centre. .
In the first year, you will study for the BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Business, with a Level 3 Certificate in Applied Law and in the second year, you will study for BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Business and a Subsidiary Diploma in Law.
Students will have the opportunity to participate in a range of trips and visits and community projects including working alongside the organisers of Brecon Jazz Festival. They will also particiapte in the Skills competions for Enterprise, setting up their own business idea for marketing.
