Course Overview

The City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Bakery, Patisserie & Confectionary Skills is a Full-time Further Education course designed for students who are interested in working as a baker or confectioner within the catering industry. This is located in the Catering, Hospitality and Agriculture (CHA) department.

This one year course specialises in advanced baking, patisserie & confectionary skills for those wanting to progress to supervisory level in a professional bakery or kitchen. The qualification is delivered through practical and theory sessions together with a real work experience in our Bakery Shop Blasus. You will develop a wide repertoire of skills from artisan breads to chocolate and sugar work.
