The Level 3 Certificate in Law and Practice recognises the growing number of students who are either interested in a short but rounded introduction to legal practice, or have a specific learning requirement within an area of legal practice. This qualification is ideal for anyone wishing to gain an entry-level qualification, perhaps as a more practical alternative to A Level Law; those seeking a qualification to assist with getting a foot in the door of the legal profession, or if you are a paralegal or a legal administrator in a law firm and wish to develop and progress to a fee earning role. Alternatively you may be working outside the legal profession in organisations dealing with employment, contractual matters, debt recovery, mortgage lending, personal injury, insurance or children’s services and you want to improve your subject knowledge. The Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law and Practice is a broad based practical introduction to law and practice. Students can complete the Certificate en route to the Professional Diploma.
Applications can be made from learners who do not hold any formal qualifications; however, a skills assessment will need to be undertaken to determine suitability for the course.
