Construction Management – BSc (Hons) (Full-Time)

Course Overview

This programme prepares learners for the management of construction projects of all sizes. It prepares you to take on responsibilities of client management to satisfy employers that projects are completed to schedule and to the specified standard and budget. Students are eligible to exit with an HND in Construction Management if they have completed the appropriate number of credits.

This course is run in partnership with Wrexham Glyndwr University.

  • Entry Requirements

    Entry is directly into Level 5 for applicants with a HNC in Construction and Built Environment or equivalent qualifications with an acceptable unit combination.

  • Career Prospects

    Graduates have a range of employment prospects in a wide range of Construction disciplines, for example: Project Manager, Building Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor or Construction Manager.

  • Course Modules

    This programme will include lectures and practical workshop sessions. Modules: Construction Technology, Development Management, Planning and Building Control, Construction and Site Management, Construction Materials, Renewable Energy, Inter-professional Studies, Project Management, Health and Safety, Dissertation.

  • Assessment

    You will usually have to complete coursework and phase tests as you progress and normally sit exams at the end of the academic year.
