Course Overview

This is a part-time course, with a 3-hour practical session. Designed to cover very advanced skills in cake decorating to include developing very advanced skills in working with royal icing, and sugar paste, modelling with pastes to include marzipan and other paste mediums, making and using very advanced skills in making piped, sugar paste and wired flowers, techniques in advanced chocolate work and also producing very advanced cake designs. This course covers a large amount of very advanced skills in this area. On successful completion the candidate can use the qualification to apply for a job in the bakery industry in a specialised section, or to start up their own businesses.

The course will take place in 3-hour sessions on a Wednesday evening, from 5-8pm.
