Course Overview
Gateway IT is suitable for young people as an introduction to the vocational area of IT. Units of study will include, data publishing, and media.
No previous knowledge is required, although learners need to be able to demonstrate an ability to work to at least Entry 3.
This will help learners to develop their skills for employment by enrolling into higher level courses in the vocational area.
This course gives students the opportunity to develop positive attitudes and behaviours to work, whilst encouraging the improvement of basic skills.
There will be additional course-related costs.
