Course Overview

This programme will suit students who wish to develop the knowledge and understanding of the modern business environment.

This course is run in partnership with the University of South Wales.

  • Entry Requirements

    Entry criteria detail a typical offer but the College considers all applications on an individual basis which means that we could make offers based on qualifications, personal profile and experience. If youhave any queries regarding your offer please contact our Admissions Team.

    Typical offer: 2 A Levels at D Grade or MP/PPP profile from a BTEC Level 3 qualification and three GCSEs at Grade C or above, to include English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications).

  • Career Prospects

    The recognised progression route for this course is the BA (Hons) Business Studies - Top-up Degree.

    Graduates have employment prospects in a wide range of business disciplines, for example, business management, consultancy, accountancy, consumer research, statistical analysis, marketing and retail management.

  • Assessment

    The programme will include lectures, seminars, practical and supervised workshop sessions and tutorial. You will usually have to complete portfolios, presentations, group-work, reports and written assignments as you progress, and normally sit exams at the end of (and occasionally in the middle of) each academic year.
