The HND Electonic and Electrical Engineering is a full-time Higher Education course. It will suit students interested in electrical and electronic engineering. The qualification will enhance your knowledge of engineering and help your career advancement towards electronics or electrical power or a combination of the two.
This course is run in partnership with Pearson.

Typical offer: 2 A Levels at E grade or PP/PPP profile from a BTEC Level 3 qualification and five GCSEs at Grade C or above, to include English and Maths (or equivalent qualfications).
The recognised progression route for this programme is into the third year of a BEng programme. Electronic and electrical engineers are highly employable and can find work in many industries, including electronics, automotive, IT, telecoms, manufacturing, power, transport, utilities and construction.
Learning, Teaching & Assessment
The programme will include lectures, practical workshop and tutorial sessions. Dependent on the modules, assessment can vary between assignments, labs, class tests and end examinations.
Additional Course Costs
You are required to provide sufficient stationery for to support your teaching and learning. Printing charges are 0.02p per black and white A4 and 0.06p for a colour A4. On enrolment you are allocated £3.00 for printing costs on your student ID card. Additional credits can be purchased in the libraries. A scientific calculator is required for this programme.
