This course is suited for new and aspiring department heads, regional team leaders and other middle managers who are looking to really get to grips with their roles, gain comprehensive business knowledge and develop the skills you need to lead whilst leading, motivating and inspiring their teams.
This course enables the individual to develop their skills and experience, improve performance and prepare for senior management responsibilities by providing strategic leadership as well as day-to-day management.
This course includes interactive workshops and personal research. The research and course content will cover the required guided learning hours.
This course covers the following topics:
– Understand the Management Role to Improve
– Management Communication
Individuals may wish to progress onto an ILM Level 5 Award in Leadership in Management.
There are no formal entry requirements, but individuals will be within a managerial role and are able to meet the assessment demands and have a background that will enable them to benefit from the programme. Individuals will be interviewed prior to programme start to ensure that they are comfortable with the assessment requirements.

Delegates will complete 2 x 2,000 word assignments based on the modules covered in the course content. Full guidance with course-specific workbooks will be provided.
