Course Overview
This advanced part-time course builds on the essential skills and techniques acquired in cake decorating level 2. It is designed to help you further develop a strong practical and creative approach to cake decorating at a more technical level. Whether you want to progress to advanced work in the bakery industry or start your own cake decorating business. The course focuses on hands-on learning and developing creative confidence through practical sessions.

Duration: One Year (September to June)
Who is this course for?
• Adults with an interest in advanced cake decorating and sugarcraft
• Learners who have completed a Level 2 Certificate in Cake Decoration and want to develop advanced decorating skills and techniques
• Those who already work in the cake decoration profession or wish to pursue self-employment

• Advanced techniques using royal icing, sugar paste, marzipan and other modelling pastes
• Specialist piping, sugar paste flowers and creative decorative finishes
• How to design and apply advanced cake decorating skills
