Course Overview

At this level, you will learn advanced skills in either site carpentry, bench joinery or shopfitting joinery.

The Level 3 Site Carpentry Diploma allows you to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in Site Carpentry.

It covers the following skills:

Carry out first fix flooring and roofing.
Carry out second fixing operations.
Carry out first fix roofing and stairs.
Carry out second fixing double doors and mouldings.
Set up and use fixed and transportable machinery.
The Level 3 Bench Joinery Diploma allows you to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in Bench Joinery.

    Level 2 Diploma/NVQ in Carpentry.

    It covers the following skills at Level 3:

    Set up and use fixed and transportable machinery.
    Manufacture internal shop fitting joinery products.
    Manufacture external shop fitting joinery products.

  • Assessment

    Practical assessment, unit examinations, on-site assessment.
