Course Overview
The Level 3 Children’s Care Learning & Development: Practice and Theory is a Full-time Further Education course designed for students who are interested in working with children in the childcare industry or wish to progress to higher education. This is located in the Health, Social and Childcare (HSC) department.
The course offers a combination of theory taught in College lectures and practical experience working in day nurseries and primary schools.

Entry Requirements
5 GCSEs C or above –English Language needed.

Career Prospects
On completion of this course, learners will be qualified to work as: Teaching assistants, Childminder, Nursery practitioner, Care worker, Preschool worker, Out of school childcare worker, Cylch Meithrin worker. Students can also progress to study Foundation Degrees.
