Prior to gaining entry onto this Level 3 qualification, students will require the City & Guilds 2365 Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures).
With the previously achieved L2 2365, students can get employment as electrical labourers or electrician’s mate.
However, on completion of this L3 2365, students can get employment as a JIB registered “Electrical Improver”.
Following this 2365 L3 course, students can then progress onto the NVQ Level 3 Diploma. The NVQ Level 3 Diploma will give you fully qualified electrician status. You will also be able to apply for a JIB “Registered Electrician” Gold Card.
Please note – If on completion of this 2365 L3 course you wish to progress onto the NVQ Level 3 Diploma; this will require a portfolio of evidence taken from on-site experience. It also requires passing of the AM2 practical assessment.
Students assessments will include:
• online multi-choice exams
• written assignments
• practical assignments
Students will be required to purchase textbooks for this course. This can be discussed with the course tutor prior to starting the course.
