The NVQ Level 1 Certificate in Hospitality Skills programme assists in developing the necessary skills required for working within the dynamic food industry.
The qualification is delivered in a College environment whereby the students are introduced to real work industry experiences in the College’s Themes and Blasus Training Restaurants and production kitchen.
Culinary and food service skills will be taught by practical, lively demonstrations and hands-on experience will allow the opportunity to practise the skills they have learnt. This is located in the Catering, Hospitality and Agriculture (CHA) department.
No formal entry requirements (interview).
The NVQ Certificate provides an excellent foundation for those who want to progress into a career in the hospitality industry. You may also apply for the Level 2 Diploma in Hospitality Services.
There will be additional course-related costs for uniform etc.
