Course Overview
The UAL Level 1 Diploma in Art, Design and Media is a full-time course based in Newtown that is designed for students who wish to gain experience and skills in Art, Design and Creative Media production. At the end of the one-year course, learners can progress to a Level 2 Diploma in Creative Media Production & Technology, Art and Design or Performing Arts. The syllabus offers a wide range of practical and academic activities, including learning traditional art skills, Illustration, photography, animation, video
production, editing and design skills. Creativity and imagination are key, whilst good analytical skills are important in realising your productive ideas. If you are committed to further study or a career in media production and the creative arts, then this is the course for you. We are in the Creative, Visual and Performance (CVP) department.
