Browse for a course you are interested in by using the search box or by downloading our part-time prospectus. Once you have decided on a particular course, please contact Admissions in the campus of your choice in the first instance for further details on the enrolment process and in obtaining an enrolment form. Enrolment dates for part-time courses will be made available in the Key Dates section once they have been confirmed. Please note that enrolment for certain part-time courses may be held at different times of the year.
Part-time students are required to pay fees as outlined in the current part-time prospectus. These may include registration/examination/assessment fees where appropriate.
All fees must be paid for at the time of enrolment.
Certain students may be eligible for reduced fees.

Once you have selected your course(s), you can apply online via the online Application Form or download a copy and return it to Admissions at the campus of your choice.

This course, which is approved by the College of Policing, will be delivered by experienced ex-police personnel at NPTC Group over a 12-week period, for one day a week (Sat or Sun).
The cost is £749 and you will learn how to:
- Support victims and witnesses
- Arrest, detain and report
- Interview suspects
- Search individuals, vehicles, premises and open spaces

How will I be taught?
As well as the theory behind policing, our course also comprises of practical elements including taught sessions, discussions, role play, staged scenarios and guest speakers.

You need to meet the required level for entry into the police service (see www.policecouldyou.co.uk) Achievement of the CKP does not guarantee a place in the police service but will certainly help prepare you for seeking employment in police forces in England and Wales. The qualification is also relevant to other related roles within the police service and may be considered to access a degree programme in Police Studies.

Throughout the course you will have a series of formal assignments, as set by City and Guilds, as well as tutorials and one-to-one sessions. You will also need to study in your own time. We will provide feedback and support throughout the whole course to ensure you are on track. You will also have informal tests for each of the modules.
