From September 2015, the new Welsh Baccalaureate qualifications, at Foundation post-16, National post-16 and Advanced levels will be introduced. All of these qualifications will be graded and will be essential parts of the Learning Programmes of all full-time students.
Students successfully completing the WBQ Diploma at Advanced Level will be awarded the equivalent of an A* - C grade at A Level. This can be added to the UCAS points you gain in your studies, and help in your application to university!
