Former student Muiread receives high acclaim from Michelin Guide
A former catering student at NPTC Group has gone on to receive high acclaim from the hotel a restaurant reference book, the Michelin Guide.
Muiread O’Connell who, together with her husband Ciaran, runs the Rhedyn Guesthouse in Cilmery, Builth Wells, has been recently won a worthy recommendation from this high profile restaurant guide in recognition of her cookery skills.
Muiread spent time at the College from November 2011 to March 2012, studying for a level 3 VRQ in Game Cookery under the guidance of Tony Burgoyne, lecturer in catering and hospitality at the College’s Newtown Campus.
She said: “I have cooked for many years but learned so much under Tony’s patient guidance.”
