Student Support

Inclusive Learning

NPTC Group welcomes applications from all students irrespective of age, gender, disability or ethnic origin. The College will assess the support needs of students and will respond accordingly by providing the relevant human/technical resources. Students with additional learning needs can receive help with study skills, basic/key skills and specific learning difficulties, including dyslexia. Students will be given the opportunity to discuss their additional support needs with a member of the Inclusive Learning Team. The College fosters the concept of Inclusive Learning 'to provide the best match or fit between how a student learns best and the learning opportunities provided.' Students can get further information about additional learning support via:

  • Student Information brochure sent via the College
  • Student Handbook/Diary
  • Disability Statement this is available in different formats:
    • Written (English/Welsh)
    • Pictorial
    • Large Print
    • Braille (English/Welsh)
    • Intranet and Internet.

All students can get extra help with their English and/or Maths if they need it. If you think you may be in that position all you need to do is ask your course co-ordinator.
