The New Way to Your Future

Full-time Career-Focussed Courses for 14 – 16-Year-Olds

Our full-time Junior Apprenticeships for 14-16 year-olds offer a great new way to develop skills and knowledge through industry qualifications

If you’re in Year 10 and 11 and choose a Junior Apprenticeship programme you’ll attend College, instead of school, five days a week during term-time. You will also study English and Maths and continue to sit GCSE exams in these subjects which are important for any future career.

These unique programmes are run in partnership with Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, schools across Neath Port Talbot and NPTC Group of Colleges.

They offer a brand new route for young people to train for a future career. Our aim is to make young people employable and ready to progress onto the next stage – a higher-level course or apprenticeship in a chosen career
at the age of 16.
