NPTC Group of Colleges is pleased to be a partner in the Cynnydd Southwest Wales regional project part funding through the European Social Fund through the Welsh Government.  This £19 million project has eleven partners and is led by Pembrokeshire County Council.

The aim of the project is to support those most at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training).

At NPTC Group of Colleges, we have a dedicated multi-campus Cynnydd team based in Neath Port Talbot that is an integral part of the Group’s multi-level Student Support function.

The Cynnydd team is able to provide additional specialist support to students. This student-centered well-being and emotional resilience support can include personal mentoring, group workshops and signposting to other specialist services using a variety of interventions specifically targeted to meet the individual needs of each student.

The team also works very closely with Neath Port Talbot LEA to support Cynnydd young people who will transition from school to College.
