Duties
To assist in the efficient operation of the Coffee Shop to include the service provision of hot & cold drinks and food and to successfully gain a Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Hospitality Services.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must be willing to undertake a NVQ Level 2 in Hospitality Services (training will be provided). Experience of working within a catering/customer service environment would be advantageous, as would a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate although training may be provided.
Salary
£9,280 per annum or subject to provisions of National Minimum Wage (if applicable), pro rata. Equivalent to £5,016 per annum.
Location
NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Afan College).
Hours Of Work
20 hours per week (including early mornings, occasional evenings and weekends)
Contract
Part-time, fixed term until completion of the Apprenticeship Framework, including QCF (previously known as NVQ) and Essential Skills. The maximum duration for each QCF level is 66 weeks.
