Competitive Salaries
Excellent Pension Schemes

As well as competitive salaries, our pension schemes are some of the best available. These are administered via the Local Government Pension Scheme or the Teacher’s Pension Scheme and provide pensions that are increased each year in line with inflation. We contribute over £21 into your pension, for every £100 you earn.

Annual Leave

The holiday allowance is excellent right from year 1.

As a lecturer, you will have 46 days per year of holiday, and as we close the College for up to 5 days over Christmas, this means up to an additional 5 days of leave. With the 8 days of public/bank holidays on top of this, you could benefit from 59 days of annual leave.

As support staff, you will have 28 days per year of holiday (rising to 32 after 5 years of continuous service), and as we close the College for up to 5 days over Christmas, this means up to an additional 5 days of leave. With the 8 days of public/bank holidays on top of this, you could benefit from 41 days of annual leave.

As a manager, you will have 37 days per year of holiday, and as we close the College for up to 5 days over Christmas, this means up to an additional 5 days of leave. With the 8 days of public/bank holidays on top of this, you could benefit from 50 days of annual leave.

This is work-life balance!
