Personal Learning Accounts

A Personal Learning Account (PLA) is a programme launched by the Welsh Government to access flexible part-time courses with the aim of obtaining the skills and qualifications you would need to change careers or to upskill within your current area of employment to access a wider range of job opportunities and/or gain employment at a higher level.

All our university-level courses have been designed with employment and future careers in mind and we strive to give our graduates the best experience and knowledge to equip them for the working world.

In addition, we have a range of Access to Higher Education courses, designed to prepare learners without traditional qualifications for study at University. We have a Pre-Access course and a number of Access courses in, Health Care (routes into Nursing and Midwifery) and Humanities (routes into Teaching).
