Personal Learning Accounts
Part-time studying to enhance your current job or kick-start a brand new career in sectors with skills shortages…
A Personal Learning Account (PLA) is a programme launched by the Welsh Government to access flexible part-time courses with the aim of obtaining the skills and qualifications you would need to change careers or to upskill within your current area of employment to access a wider range of job opportunities and/or gain employment at a higher level.
We are pleased to have developed a number of wide-ranging degree programmes in partnership with a range of prestigious Higher Education institutions. All our university-level courses have been designed with employment and future careers in mind and we strive to give our graduates the best experience and knowledge to equip them for the working world.
Our higher education courses are:
- Career Focussed
- Forward Thinking
In addition, we have a range of Access to Higher Education courses, designed to prepare learners without traditional qualifications for study at University. We have a Pre-Access course and a number of Access courses in, Health Care (routes into Nursing and Midwifery) and Humanities (routes into Teaching).
