Course Overview
The NPORS N010 Telescopic Handler course equips delegates with the necessary skills and knowledge to safely and efficiently operate telescopic handlers, also known as telehandlers. The course covers theoretical instruction on health and safety regulations, operator responsibilities, and the safe operation of telescopic handlers. Practical training includes essential manoeuvres such as lifting, lowering, extending, and slewing the telescopic boom, as well as operating attachments like forks, buckets, or platforms.
For those seeking the NPORS CSCS Card, passing the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test within the last two years is required.
Upon successful completion, participants can progress to more advanced NPORS certifications or pursue relevant NVQ qualifications to upgrade their NPORS Red Trained Operators Card to a Blue Competent Operators Card.

Participants are assessed through a combination of theory (open questions and multiple choice) and practical tests.
