The Linked Learner Hub is a simple, secure way to track your child’s application before they start college and stay up to date on their achievements once they begin their studies.
What is the Linked Learner Hub?
We know how important it is to stay connected with your child’s education. The Linked Learner Hub helps you monitor their journey from application through to enrolment and beyond.
It’s your trusted space to:
Track application progress
Receive updates and reminders
View attendance and achievements
Provide electronic consent for activities
Communicate with tutors and support staff

How it works
For Parents / Guardians
- Visit this link to sign up: https://learnerhub.nptcgroup.ac.uk/Page/U_AccountRegistration (If you are a learner at the college yourself or already have a Learner Hub account, you can log in directly at: www.nptcgroup.ac.uk/linked-learner-hub/linked-learner-hub-login
- Create an account if you do not already have one.
- On the Linked Learner Hub homepage, locate the Your Linked Learners section. If no learners are displayed, click Add a Learner.
- On the Add Learner page, enter: The learner’s Person Code (found on their Student ID card or their Learner Hub homepage), and your relationship to the learner.
By clicking Submit, you agree that the following information will be shared with the learner so they can confirm your identity and approve access:
- Forename
- Surname
- Date of Birth
- Home Address
You will then be returned to the Linked Learner Hub homepage, where you will see any learners you have requested to link to. Additional learners can be added if required.
At this stage, you can provide consent on behalf of the learner for Educational Visits and the Use of AI in the classroom. You may also give consent for Digital Loans if your learner has already applied for one. If not, you can log back in at a later date to provide this consent.
Once the learner approves your request, a Learner Overview button will appear. This will give you access to information such as:
- Application and enrolment details
- Timetables
- The learner’s communication log.
You can log back in at any time via: www.nptcgroup.ac.uk/linked-learner-hub/linked-learner-hub-login
For Learners
When a parent or guardian requests to link to your account, you must approve the request before any additional information is shared.
To approve a request:
- Log in to the Learner Hub at www.nptcgroup.ac.uk/learner-hub.
- Select Access Permissions from the menu bar.
- Review the list of people who have requested to link to you.
If you recognise them and wish to approve the request, change the drop-down option to
Has permission and click Save.
Your parent or guardian will now be successfully linked to your account.
