The Corporation Board is the principal governing body of NPTC Group of Colleges and holds ultimate responsibility for the strategic direction, performance and accountability of the College.
Supporting the Board are several Committees and Subsidiary Boards, each with specific areas of focus. These include the Resources & General Purposes Committee, the Audit Committee and the Chairs’ Committee, as well as the Subsidiary company boards — GVCE Ltd t/a Jobforce Wales, Llandarcy Park Ltd, JGR Educate, and LSI Ltd.
Each Committee and Subsidiary Board meets regularly throughout the academic year to consider detailed reports, monitor progress and make recommendations within their remit. Key matters discussed at these meetings are then reported to the Corporation Board through formal minutes or summary reports, ensuring clear lines of accountability and effective oversight.
In this structure, all Committees and Subsidiary Boards feed into the Corporation Board, which meets several times each year to review recommendations, make strategic decisions, and ensure that the College continues to meet its objectives and statutory responsibilities.
