Top Law Students Get Rewarded

Congratulations to the winners of this year’s NPTC Group of Colleges Law Awards. Sponsored by Jennifer Melly Law, the awards returned after a short break due to the pandemic.  Kate Williams, Rachel Staples and Carys Smith were rewarded for being the top achieving Law students during the academic years of 2019-2021 at the ceremony hosted by Jennifer Melly Law, which is based in Neath.

Core Skills Manager and Law Lecturer Naomi Davies said: “All three students showed exceptional commitment to their studies and were valuable ambassadors for the College at events such as Open Evenings and Taster Days. When Rachel and Carys’ lessons moved online, they were as enthusiastic during remote learning as they had been in the classroom.”

The College has a proud tradition that many of it’s A Level Law students go on to read law at university. After completing their A Levels at Neath College, Kate has gone on to complete her Law degree at Warwick University and Carys is currently reading Law at Cardiff University. Both will be undertaking work experience at Jennifer Melly Law this summer. Rachel will be starting the third year of her Psychology degree at Cardiff University in September.

The College wish Kate, Rachel and Carys all the very best for a bright and successful future.
