Level 1 Introductory Diploma in Sport – BTEC (Full-Time)
Course Overview
The BTEC Level 1 Introductory Diploma in Sport course is designed to prepare you for employment in the Sport & Leisure Industry or for students wishing to progress on to the Level 2 Sport or Public Services course.
The modules include: Practical and personal development, including fitness training, exercise and keeping active and healthy. As well as playing, coaching and organising sports. You will also build key skills such as organisation, working together, research and creating personal plans.
No formal entry requirements but an interest in Sport would be beneficial (interview)
Progression to our Level 2 in Sport or Public Services or employment in the expanding areas of sport, recreation and leisure.

There are no exams on this course. All assessments will be via coursework and take place continuously throughout the year.
