Course Overview
The NCFE Level 1 Travel & Tourism with Agored Cymru Work Related Education is a Full-time Further Education course designed for students who are interested in the travel and tourism industry.
This introductory programme is designed for learners who are interested in exploring the travel, tourism and hospitality industries while developing the essential employability skills needed for future study or work. It provides a supportive first step into vocational learning, helping you build confidence, practical knowledge and a clear understanding of the career pathways available in this dynamic sector.
Travel and Tourism jobs are customer service focussed, and this programme will provide you with experience of teamwork and problem solving, introduce you to workplace behaviour and expectations, assist with career planning, and help you develop job seeking skills via practical tasks linked to real working environments.
Students must be 16.
This programme is ideal for learners who:
• Are new to vocational study
• Want to build confidence before progressing to Level 2
• Enjoy practical learning and real world tasks
• Are interested in careers such as travel agency work, hospitality, events, customer service, or tourism operations
No previous qualifications are required.
The recognised progression route is onto the Level 2 Travel & Tourism with cabin crew and holiday reps, Level 2 Business, Hospitality or Customer Service courses.
Graduates have employment prospects in travel and tourism related disciplines, including customer service, tourism, hospitality.
