Course Overview
This qualification is designed to equip learners with the knowledge to understand the basic principles of domestic retrofit. It provides learners with an overview of information used, the health and safety considerations, the resources used, the risks of damage, contractual requirements and the processes involved as part of retrofit activities.
There are no formal entry requirements, however, experience in the construction industry would be a benefit.
Successful delegates will gain increased employment opportunities in the retrofit sector of the construction industry, as well as the opportunity to progress onto the Level 2 or 3 NVQ Diploma in Insulation and Building Treatments.

This qualification is assessed via a multiple-choice examination.
Students will be required to purchase textbooks for this course. This can be discussed with the course tutor prior to starting the course.
