Level 2 Combined Sport & Public Services – BTEC (Full-Time)
Course Overview
The BTEC Level 2 Combined Sport & Public Services is a Full-time Further Education course designed for students who aspire to work in the sports and public sectors.
You will complete both practical and written assessments alongside projects. These are based on realistic workplace situations, activities, and demands of both Sports and Public Services. You will look at different aspects of each sector. This course will provide you with a good basis to go onto an advanced work-related qualification.
The appropriate range of GCSEs A*-E. A Level 1 Qualification in Sport or Public Services.
This is a well-rounded BTEC course and can lead to careers such as sports coaching, PE teacher, disability sports officer, sports therapist, sports analyst, sports nutritionist, gym instructor or a sports community officer.
Public services will lay the basis for a career in the uniformed public sectors such as the armed forces, coastguard, ambulance, police, fire services and blue-light emergency services.
