Course Overview
The NPORS N108 course provides foundational training and assessment in operating and maintaining Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP) Boom. It covers both theory and practical aspects, including health and safety regulations, pre-use inspections, safe operating techniques, emergency procedures, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
This course is designed for individuals who need the knowledge and practical skills to safely operate a MEWP Boom. It is suitable for candidates of all abilities, including those with no prior formal instruction.
Participants must have a good understanding of spoken and written English. For those seeking the NPORS CSCS Card, passing the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test within the last two years is required.
