After You Apply

After you Submit your Application

Once you’ve submitted your application, our admissions team will pass it onto the course leader, who will consider your suitability for the course.

If the course leader thinks that you are suitable for the course, they will then invite you to the next stage of the process:

Interview/Audition

Interview:

You will be invited to have an interview with the course leader and they will ask you questions to help decide if the course is a good fit for you and vice versa. You will have the chance to ask any questions you may have as well.

Audition: (Music HND)

If you have applied to the HND in Music, a vocal/instrumental audition is required prior to acceptance on the course.

Receiving an Offer

If you are successful at your interview/audition, you will receive an offer of a place on the course. There are two types of offers:

Conditional Offer

A conditional offer means that your place on the course is reliant on you meeting certain criteria such as achieving specific exam results or obtaining a DBS certificate.

Unconditional Offer

An unconditional offer means that the course leader has determined that you already meet any required criteria/experience and you are offered a place on the course.

Accepting/Rejecting your Offer

If you applied through UCAS, your offer will be made to you via UCAS and you will have to log in to UCAS Track to accept or reject your place on the course.

If you applied directly to us, you will receive an email containing your offer and will need to log in to our direct application system to accept or reject your offer.

If you have any questions, you can email our admissions team via headmin@nptcgroup.ac.uk
