Sport & Exercise Science
NPTC Group of Colleges has an established reputation for sporting success, with former students gaining international recognition in a variety of sports.
Our facilities at Llandarcy Academy of Sport include an international sports hall, climbing wall, strength & conditioning room, 60m indoor track, indoor multisport facility, and a 4G pitch. Student can also utilize our fully-equipped Electronic Learning Centre (ELC) rooms along with a student common room furnished with a TV and table tennis.
Many of our sports staff have top-level coaching experience, which will develop students’ sporting abilities, as well as being a part of the academy and enrichment programmes.
Careers in Sport can include sports coach, PE teacher, disability sports officer, sports therapist, sports analyst, sports nutritionist, gym instructor or sports community officer.

Public Services
Public services are a vital part of our society and our Higher National Diploma in Public Services will undoubtedly lay the basis for a career in the armed forces, coastguard, ambulance, police or fire services. For example, many of our former students have progressed into various careers in uniformed public sectors, including blue-light emergency services and the armed forces.
Additionally, the department runs educational visits across the country to highlight possible careers in Uniformed Public Services. If you are looking to begin an exciting career in Public Services, then our HND could be right for you.
