Course Overview

This Level 2 Performing Engineering Operations qualification is designed to support adult learners in developing practical and theoretical engineering skills. Typically studied alongside an apprenticeship, it can also be taken by individuals who want to upskill or prepare for employment but cannot commit to full-time study. The course underpins workplace learning and helps you build the core mechanical engineering skills needed for progression into employment, an apprenticeship or further study. You will have an opportunity to choose from advanced manufacturing or Welding and Fabrication pathway.
