Courses

NPTC Group consists of eight main campuses that provide an extensive range of full- and part-time courses.

We have an endless choice of study programmes for you to choose from, whether you are interested in taking an academic or vocational path into higher education or directly into the world of work. For an in-depth look at the courses we offer use the search box at the top left-hand corner or click on the coloured tabs above. Alternatively, you can download a prospectus. Perhaps youd like to see the possible route progressions from the course of your choice, if so, then click on the Curriculum Maps on the left-hand side. If youd like to see what the College is like for yourself, then click on to our DVDs' sections.

General Information

Transport to College

Some programmes are provided on more than one campus whilst others are exclusive to one or other campus. However, most campuses are served directly by bus via the First Cymru network so choice of courses should never need to be influenced by their location. There is a shuttle bus operating from the Neath campus to the Afan campus at the start and end of each day. In addition, there is a shuttle bus from the Neath campus to the Llandarcy Park Academy of Sport at the start of each morning.

The College does not have any statutory duty to provide any home to College transport for learners. The current College policy is that learners who meet the eligibility criteria are able to purchase a subsidised bus pass on a termly basis. The College does not provide any separate transport for learners with additional needs. If any learner requires such transport they must contact their local authority, which retains this responsibility.

Welsh Language

All Welsh-speaking students can access College services through the medium of Welsh and have an opportunity to undertake some elements of their learning programmes through the Welsh language, where Welsh-speaking staff are available. Additional support is also available for those wishing to improve upon their oral and written skills, or maintain their language. Please visit Clwb Croeso for more information. For students who are more comfortable with producing work through the medium of Welsh, a translation service is provided. Please contact the College for more information.
