If you choose to study one of our Art and Design courses, we will support and guide you as you develop your skills and take your first steps into this fast-moving, dynamic sector.

We offer a wide range of AS and A Level subjects, including 3D Design, Fine Art, Graphic Communication, Photography and Textiles. Our vocational options include the UAL Level 2 Diploma and Level 3 Extended Diploma in Art and Design. These courses combine practical studio work with dedicated teaching in historical and contextual studies, giving you a strong understanding of both contemporary practice and creative heritage.

After completing A Levels or a Level 3 Extended Diploma in a relevant creative subject, you can progress to our specialist Level 3/4 Foundation Diploma in Art and Design. This course is designed to prepare you for Higher Education or entry into a creative apprenticeship, helping you refine your portfolio and define your future direction.

If you are considering the Creative Arts pathway, we recommend carefully researching your options to choose the right combination of A Level subjects, or deciding whether a vocational course is the best fit for your goals.

Success in the creative industries requires commitment, curiosity and resilience. You will need to be willing to experiment, solve problems and push your ideas further.

Many of our lecturers are practising artists and designers, so you will be taught by professionals who are actively working in the industry. They will support you to explore your own creative voice within a wider cultural context, helping you to shape your ideas, challenge perspectives and make meaningful work.
