GET MOVING… WITH A CAREER IN DANCE

Dance is a great choice for students looking for ways to express themselves.

These courses have been designed for students who want to progress onto a specialist dance training school or university; for those who are determined to achieve a career in the performing arts industry. The specialist training across all dance styles focuses on technical, creative, and performance skills with the intention of fostering the ‘multi-disciplined’ dancer. Students should expect to take part in a variety of live dance performances and industry-related projects, including an end of year company showcase at the Nidum Arts Centre.

One Vision Dance Company is the collective term used for students on the course and is used to bring the learning to life in a vocational setting. Students on the course will have opportunities to train with LIFT Dance Company, Fairytale Productions, and industry professionals, with the intention of developing professional working attitudes in an educational environment. The course will foster and develop the talents of the students, emphasising the importance of safe dance practice whilst in training.
