Are you interested in Childcare training?

At Pathways Training we deliver Apprenticeships in Children’s Care, Play, Learning and Development that will give learners a nationally recognised qualification. Learners will develop skills in the workplace and have the opportunity to attend arranged workshops.
These qualifications will give in-depth information about the role of the level 2 and 3 Childcare Practitioner when working with children and young people between the ages of 0-19.

Apprentice Statement

After being made redundant from my previous job, I decided on a new career path. An apprenticeship has allowed me to learn new skills whilst in the workplace with an income. After completing my Level 2 I was offered a full time position, I am now working towards my Level 3.

Employer Statement

Apprenticeships have greatly benefited our nursery by allowing staff to gain real experience in a childcare setting under the guidance of our experienced practitioners, while completing their qualifications. This approach allows apprentices to quickly learn our routines and procedures, and become effective team members, tailored to our specific needs. Whether they have been school leavers who wanted to delve straight into the world of work rather than go to college, or those who have opted for a career change later in life, we are proud that all the apprentices we have employed have gone on to stay with us and enjoy successful careers in childcare after completing their training. Overall, apprenticeships enhance our nursery’s ability to deliver high-quality childcare while supporting the professional growth of our staff.
