Are you interested in Customer Service training?

This qualification will support roles such as customer service assistant, representative or agent, customer relationship manager, co-ordinator, customer service team leader or a similar role.

At Pathways Training we deliver apprenticeships in Customer Service that will give learners a nationally recognised qualification. Learners will develop skills in the workplace with Assessor support for up to 1 year.


Level 2

Foundation Apprenticeship

Units may include: Deliver customer service, understand employer organisations, manage personal performance and development, communicate verbally with customers, communicate with customers in writing, and many more.

Level 3


Units may include: Organise and deliver customer service, resolve customers’ problems, principles of business, manage personal and professional development, develop resources to support consistency of customer service delivery, and many more.

Apprenticeships include:

  • Diploma in Customer Service
  • ESW Communication Skills
  • ESW Application of Number Skills

Entry requirements

Learners must be:

  • Living/working in Wales (must meet eligibility criteria)
  • Employed for at least 16 hours each week throughout the apprenticeship.

Employer Incentive: Your employer may be able to claim up to £3,500 towards the cost of your training (Subject to eligibility criteria).

What will the qualification lead to?

After completing the Apprenticeship learners can progress onto:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Customer Service Management
  • Specialist professional qualifications.
